Chicken Apron

No, it's not for a chicken; it's an apron with chickens on it!

There's a layer of thin batting under each block.  The only quilting I did was to outline the block frames and the chickens.

This is a birthday gift for a friend who, with her husband, raises chickens.

And here's Teensy waiting for me in the bookcase on the upstairs hallway landing.  😸

  1. Very cute apron, Sarah Lynn. I'm sure your friend will love it. Teensy doesn't look teensy. My cat sure isn't teensy.

    1. While Teensy is skinnier than he used to be, he is indeed a big cat. His name started out as TNC (The Neighbors' Cat) -- but he liked us better. Say 'TNC' fast, and it turns into Teensy, which was a joke, because he was so big. 😄

  2. Love it. I collect chicken things and so does one granddaughter who will inherit mine. She'd love your apron, too.

    1. Yep. That's him. Although he actually came in out of the *heat*. 😄
