Last Stitch on the Ringerbearer's Pillow

Victoria got a ring set at Dillards yesterday, and I sewed them onto her ringbearer's pillow.

Heading out for the wedding rehearsal -- Jared, Victoria, Kurt.

The gift table in the Fellowship Hall, with the card holder Victoria made (box on the left that looks like a three-tier cake).

Favors boxes, full of butter mints and nuts.

Larry and Bill, fathers of bride and groom, chatting at Kurt's grandparents' home, where all our families were invited for lunch.  There were trays of fresh fruits and vegetables... dip, cheeses, crackers, sliced meats, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and lemon-lime soda mixed with a syrup of sugar, water, almond, and vanilla extract.  Hester made the drink.

Ringbearer's Pillow

I finished Victoria's ringbearer's pillow tonight:

Victoria did most of the beadwork...

... and then yesterday our friend Helen finished the last leaf.  She was pleased when neither Victoria nor I could tell which one she had done.

I added one more pearl cluster, sewed front to back, attached the ribbons, and put a cluster of pearls in the center of the bow.

I sewed elastic to a piece of ribbon and attached it to the back for the ringbearer to slide his hand into... and it was done.

And here is the pillow Victoria set out to copy, putting a bit of her own spin on it:
This one cost $350!!! -- and that is why we make our own.
