Miniature fleece blanket made with the 5" squares cut from the corners of the knotted fleece blanket... and a little Ty beany baby lion to go with it.
Instead of regular seams, I overlapped the pieces and used a feather stitch to hold them together, in order to have less bulk. I used white fleece for the back.
I found a soft, soft piece of faux fur in my stash a few days ago; I got it in a clearance bin at a fabric store somewhere. I split it lengthwise, sewed the ends together, and lined it with doeskin satin. It will look nice with my black leather coat.
